Refund Policy — Flip Lab

Tokens and exports

Tokens are used to export audio (rendered flips or live-recorded takes). Because an export delivers a digital file immediately upon spending a token, token purchases and individual exports are final sale once the corresponding file has been generated and made available to you, except as described below.

When we will issue a refund

We will refund a token purchase or restore spent tokens if:

• You were charged but did not receive the tokens you paid for due to a technical error on our end;
• An export failed to generate after a token was spent (this is handled automatically — a failed render restores your token without you needing to contact us);
• You were charged in error or charged more than once for the same purchase.

To request a refund under these circumstances, contact us at contact@silkvelvetrecords.com within 30 days of the charge, including your account email and, if applicable, the flip code involved.

When we generally will not issue a refund

• You changed your mind after a successful export.
• You’re unsatisfied with the creative outcome of a flip you exported (the whole point of the tool is experimentation before you spend a token — New Flip, previewing, and browsing presets are always free).
• Your account was suspended for violating our Terms of Service.

How refunds are processed

Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method via Stripe and may take 5–10 business days to appear, depending on your bank.

Your rights under Quebec law

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under the Quebec Consumer Protection Act or other applicable law that cannot be waived by agreement.
